Game Highlights
Support
Score a match on one phone, film it on another, and the moments that matter cut their own highlights. Badminton and tennis, singles and doubles; cricket, 5 to 50 overs, 6 to 11 a side.
Getting started
- On the scoring phone, start a new game, pick the sport and name the players. You get a 4-digit code.
- On a second phone, enter that code, choose the camera role, and point it at the court.
- Score each rally by tapping the player who won it. In cricket, tap the runs off each ball — players are named as they walk out, so you can start before you know the full squad.
- Highlights appear as you play. Tap Save on any of them to keep it in your camera roll.
Common questions
I'm scoring, but no highlights appear
A point is only clipped if a camera is filming at the time. Scoring on its own is a perfectly valid game — it just produces no video. Check that a second phone has joined with the game code and is filming.
Which cricket balls get a highlight?
Wickets and boundaries hit off the bat. Four byes is four runs and nothing to watch, so it is not clipped. Anything else worth keeping, tap Keep that straight after the ball and it is cut too. A wicket is filed under both the bowler who took it and the batter who lost it, so it turns up in either player's highlights.
How long after a point does a highlight appear?
About ten seconds. Most of that is waiting for the recording to finish writing past the end of the clip.
I tapped the wrong thing while scoring cricket
Tap Undo — it takes back the last delivery, the last batter or bowler you named, or the last strike swap, one at a time. If the batters are simply at the wrong ends, tap either batter's name to swap the strike; overthrows and run-outs defeat every rotation rule, so that override is always available.
My highlights are gone
Highlights are deleted seven days after the match, and the original recording goes within hours of the game finishing. Saving a highlight to your camera roll is the only way to keep it. The scores and player names are kept, so the results page for a match keeps working after that — it will say the highlights have expired.
The venue wifi dropped
Scoring keeps working with no network and syncs as soon as one returns, so no points are lost. Filming does not — the camera reconnects, but the recording will have a gap for the time it was offline. If the hall's wifi is unreliable, put the camera phone on cellular.
The camera phone gets hot, or the battery drains
Filming a full match is a continuous encode. Keep the camera phone on a charger, and use the newest phone you have for the camera role.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up and no password. The 4-digit game code is the only thing you share, and it stops working when the game expires.
Reporting content
Match video is filmed by users. If you have been sent a game link containing content that should not be there, email project44231@gmail.com with the link. Reports are reviewed and offending matches are deleted outright, video files included. A device that repeatedly films objectionable content is blocked from filming.
Games are not public and not searchable: there is no feed and no browsing, and a recording can only be opened by someone holding its link or code.
Deleting your data
Video and highlights expire on their own after seven days; the scores and player names are kept so a results link you have shared keeps working. If you want a match removed sooner, or removed entirely, email project44231@gmail.com with the game link and it will be deleted, including the video files on disk.
